About Channel 22
The Decatur Public School District has its own cable television station thanks to a partnership with Insight Cable. Cable Channel 22 is a 24-hour source for school information. We have a Broadcast Production class at our Decatur Area Technical Academy. Students produce a bi-weekly newscast and special features that are broadcast daily on Channel 22. Schools also submit slide shows featuring a varitey of activities and events. Channel 22 is also a source for important time-sensitive information. In the event of inclement weather or a school emergency, families are advised to tune into Channel 22 for the most up-to-date information.
