Foundation Mission
Our mission is to acquire and distribute resources to Decatur Public Schools District 61 to enhance, enrich, and encourage learning opportunities for its students, staff, and community.

Reliance on Donors
The Decatur Public Schools Foundation is a nonprofit organization that makes it possible for individuals and organizations to support student achievement at all levels in Decatur Public Schools through tax-deductible donations.

These donations are used to fund grants to teachers, enhancing and enriching the educational experiences of students throughout District 61. Click here to see a few of our grant funded projects!

Donors to the DPSF can also direct their gift to be used for specific projects in The Arts, science & technology, or academic achievement. These projects, such as Decatur Science Investigations, allow students to explore the world around them while increasing student achievement.
