Welcome to Durfee Magnet School, the technology school for Decatur Public Schools.  In addition to interactive white boards in every classroom, students at Durfee use over 200 iPads; making technology a part of their daily routine and taking learning to higher levels.  Students and teachers also have access to a state-of-the-art broadcast studio with Chroma Key technology.  Students learn all aspects of broadcasting from both sides of the camera as they produce professional quality videos.  Durfee also has a family style lunch, where students eat in the classroom and continue their learning while working on communication skills.  Visit us on any Friday, and you will see a sea of green as we celebrate “Spirit Day.”  We are all proud to be part of the Durfee Family.
