food, too, and or. Please add these to your list. We are testing for report cards these next two weeks.
The Kindergartners had a blast on their field trip to the Children’s Museum. We once again want to thank Millikin University school of Education for covering all admission costs and the Amherst Hardy Foundation for sponsoring transportation costs. This field trip would not happen without them. Also, thank you to the parents and grandparents who were able to chaperone our field trip.
Happy birthday to the following students who celebrated their birthdays this week: Jameson (2/19,) Montserrat (2/24,) Cora (2/25,) Connor (2/25,) and Rebekkah (2/26.)
Our Black History Month Concert was a wonderful event last night. Thank you to those who were able to come and celebrate with us. They all looked so nice dressed up in their color combinations. We wanted to thank Miss Pistorius, our music teacher for putting together such a wonderful program for our students.
Since we are starting a new month next week, please send snack and napkins for both classes. We each have 27 students.
Spring Break runs from Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13. There will be NO SCHOOL that week. Classes will resume on Monday, March 16.
Please remember that our school day begins at 8:10. It is important that the children come to school on
time and come to school every day that they are not ill. When children are tardy, they are missing valuable instruction time!
Just a reminder that Mrs. McKenzie has P.E. on Wednesday and Friday, and Miss Cameron has P.E.
on Thursday and Friday. If your child does not have tennis shoes at school, please have your child wear tennis shoes on those days or send tennis shoes that your child can keep in their locker. If your child does not wear tennis shoes to P.E. they get points taken off as a grade.
