Personal Property, Candy, Gum and Money
Students are asked not to bring personal property other than school supplies to school unless it has been cleared with the teacher ahead of time. Things such as watches, radios, calculators and other prized possessions are too frequently lost or left unattended. Teachers cannot be responsible for the loss of such items.
Notes will be sent home if money is needed for special events. Pockets of money, candy, gum, or trinkets often lead to problems during the day with other students and/or teachers, as most children find it hard to keep such items in their pockets. Your child can easily avoid these types of problems by leaving items at home. Also, we are making a conscious effort to help our children make healthy and nutritious choices.
