    Special Education Teacher
This is my 6th year at MacArthur and my 12th year of teaching. Before coming to MacArthur, I taught at Morrison Junior High School for 3 years and Litchfield Middle School for 3 years. At both positions, I taught cross-categorical special education.
In 2009, I recieved my Masters in Education with a concentration in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. I received my Bachelors in Education with a specialization in Learning and Behavior Disorders and Mild Mental Impairments at Illinois State University in 1998. I received my Associates in Math and Science from LincolnLand Community College in 1996.
I like to read, play with my three children, sew, quilt, and crochet.
    Volunteer Work:
I currently attend a quilt night sponsored by my aunts where we make lap quilts, baby blankets, and small quilts for the local crisis pregnancy centers, nursing homes, Kilmner Village, and orphans in Romania.
I also teach Sunday School at my church.
I also am a member and volunteer in my children's school parent organization.
