• iPad Collection for Graduating Seniors: iPad collection for seniors will be Wednesday, May 8 outside the small gym. You must turn in your iPad, keyboard case, and charger immediately follow your exams that day. Make sure iPads are clean and that the only sticker on them is a barcode.

iPad Collection for Freshmen - Juniors: iPads, keyboard cases, and chargers will be collected from all 9th - 11th grade students on Tuesday, May 21. Please remove all stickers, artwork, etc. from your iPad (except the bar code) prior to May 21.

Problems with Your iPad: If there are any problems with your iPad or if it is missing, go to your AP/dean’s office as soon as possible to complete a help ticket for IT. You must complete this request or your device may not be fixed before the next school year.

Backing Up Files: Prior to turning in your device, it is very important that you back up all of your files to a google drive account, personal dropbox account, etc. All iPads will be locked after the collection date.

Students Graduating or Transferring: If you will not be returning to DPS next year, you will also need to back up any files in your school google drive account that you want to save. You can do this by downloading those files and saving them elsewhere. Another option for backing up your files from Google Drive is called Google Takeout. Click here for step-by-step directions on Google Takeout, and keep in mind that you will still need to save those files to a personal Google Drive account.

Advanced Placement (AP) Students: Students who are enrolled in AP Classes for the 2019-20 school year will have access to their iPads over the summer. However, they will still need to participate in the collection process and have their iPad re-issued for summer work. Dates for AP students to pick up their iPads for summer use are below. If these times will not work for a student, a help ticket can be entered by the community secretary for an alternate setup time to be scheduled with the building technician.
