Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Fund

The purpose of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Designated Fund is to enhance and enrich our students' experience by supporting projects and initiatives that promote equity and inclusion for individuals of all ages, dialects, disabilities, ethnicities, genders, nationalities, races, religions, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic status levels. Intentionally fostering empathy for all peers and adults will encourage increased tolerance and dialogue between diverse populations within District #61 and the larger community.
"In a world in which economic, ethnic, gender, health, and racial dispariites are prevalent, it's imperative that we work to ensure that our school district inentionally embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. Doing so is in the best interest of our students, staff, families, and community." — Nikki L. Garry, Foundation Vice Chair and DEI Designated Fund Founder
