I am the 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher at JHMS. I enjoy teaching students how history can shape their own lives.

I earned my Education Degree from Illinois State University and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Eastern Illinois University and has completed 32 hours past my master's degree. I have been teaching for 19years and proud to call JHMS my home for the past 18 years. 

I am married and have one child that also attend Johns Hill Magnet School. I truly believe that JHMS has one of the best educational programs in the city.
