Degrees and Certifications:
I graduated from Cedarville University in Ohio with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 1992. After graduation I moved to Gallup, New Mexico to teach 4th grade on a Navajo Indian Reservation. After 5 years on the reservation, we decided to move to the magnificent state of Illinois, where I became a first grade teacher and then a preschool teacher. In 2006 I joined the Muffley family as a 2nd grade teacher. Every grade I taught has been my favorite at the time. So, of course, 2nd grade is my current favorite grade. My goal in 2nd grade is to help my students become life long learners with a passion for more knowledge and have the confidence to believe they can reach for the stars. In my free time I enjoy reading, camping, going to church, and, of course, spending time with my wonderful husband and our four children.
