    Teacher Bio
     
               Hello, my name is Melissa Prasun and I love teaching Kindergarten at Muffley School!  I obtained my Associates in Arts Degree from Richland Community College and then transferred to Illinois State University majoring in Elementary Education.  In 2002, I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science Degree from ISU and received my K-9 teaching certificate.  This is my 19th year in education, 16th year in DPS#61, and my 13th year teaching at Muffley. I am happily married to Josh Prasun and we have 2 daughters.  We love watching and supporting our daughters in all their activities/sports!  I also enjoy cooking, shopping, reading,  music, sports, and spending time with friends/family!  I also love learning and growing with all my past/present Kindernuggets.
