    A Little About The Teachers
I am Karen McFadin and I have taught Preschool age children for many years,  In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and spending time playing games with friends.  I have a grandson that I adore.  Kim Hack will be returning to our classroom again this year.  Her long time tenure here at Pershing has made her an excellent assistant teacher who the children adore.  She enjoys spending time with her family.  She is most noted by the children for her love and compassion and, of course, her love of colorful tennis shoes.

    Classroom Info
The room is ready for exploration!  We will spend the first weeks establishing routine, learning rules, and setting expectations.  We believe that a child's play is their work, so when you hear "I played today" know that there was much learning going on.  We go outside daily, have center play, and will have library, and PE each week.  We try to get into several large " "projects" throughout the year.  We will get messy so please dress your child for play everyday. Tennis shoes are the best shoes to wear to school.   Sandals with back straps are ok.  Flip flops and shoes that do not stay securely on the feet should be left at home.
