Hello! I am so excited about being your teacher this year! I know this year is different than normal but I am positive we can make some great memories and learn all sorts of new things. I am excited to get to spend the next three years getting to know you and learn alongside you. I know we are all going to do great things!

I am a graduated of Decatur Public Schools (Go Generals!). I attended Illinois State University for my undergrad and graduated in 2006. I spent my first year teaching in Springfield Public Schools and have been in Decatur Public Schools since then. I have two masters degrees. One from Concordia University in Teacher Leadership and the other from Eastern Illinois University in Educational Leadership. I also completed my Montessori training through MMTTC and am certified in Elementary 1. 

My husband and I have one daughter who is a student at Montessori Academy of Peace. I have a dog named Maui. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with family, read books, and play games.
