Degrees and Certifications:
Hi there! My name is Joanne Lange and I’m the Care Room TA at the Kaleidoscope campus. I earned an Associate in Elementary Education at Lakeland Community College and an Associate as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Parkland Community College. I’ve always enjoyed working with children and feel the skills I’ve learned as a COTA will be beneficial in the care room.
I’m a mom to two amazing daughters, stepson and two pups. My oldest daughter is a History major at the University of Illinois, my youngest is a Sailor in the Navy, and my stepson is an Airman in the Air Force. My pups, Butterbean and Halo, are fun pups who keep us laughing with their quirks and silly personalities.
My fiancé, Tom, and I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, cooking, and spending time with our children.
I feel like I’m always finding new interests that usually revolve around some form of holistic healing, with my latest venture into Sound Healing. I’m currently enrolled in a class to further my knowledge and understanding of crystal singing bowls, which I love and enjoy practicing them with my family and friends. The ability to help clear a persons mind from daily stress and worry has been a rewarding experience. I’m really looking forward to learning more and finding ways to incorporate this into different areas in my life.
