The mission of Decatur Public Schools Health Services is to eliminate health-related barriers to learning, so that every student can be in school and ready to learn. Our team of school nurses promote the overall wellness of our schools by identifying students with special needs, performing health assessments, supervising and administering prescribed medications, providing emergency care, and performing other health-related tasks.
