Three years ago, Dennis received widespread media coverage related to the incredible 100th year anniversary celebration. Likewise, the community is excited about the ongoing planning as we transition to the Dennis Lab School. Truly a “unique educational opportunity” is being made available to our young students!

Camp Connections, Camp Discovery, DPS Smash Jr., and DPS Smash. Summer Camp full of hands-on learning and student-led activities with DPS Teachers, Millikin University Pre-service students and DPS High School interns! Parents will only be able to apply online this year at WWW.DPS61.org/Camp15. The deadline to apply is March 3, 2015.

Congrats to the Dennis Lab Lego Team for taking home the prize of Best Rookie Team. Great job to our students and Mrs. Carr. A team of seven 6th-8th graders that have exhibited teamwork to complete a project & design a robot. FIRST (For inspiration and recognition in science and technology) is an organization promoting science, engineering, and technology in students to spark an early interest in the field.
They want Dennis Lab School to become a city landmark.
