Pershing Early Learning Center is an educational environment designed to meet the needs of our youngest learners and their families.  We encourage learning for the child through explorational play, expanding personal experiences, and providing students with a literacy rich environment.  By working together with parents, we are able to provide many DPS children with a successful preschool experience which meets their needs and prepares them for Kindergarten.

  • Hello Pershing Families,

Due to the limited number of buses on our district PLC early out days, your children who attend the AM session will be arriving to their take home destinations approximately 30 minutes later than usual.  No PM students will be attending. Our first PLC early out day is next Wednesday September 9th and the upcoming days include September 23rd, October 7th, and October 21st.  Our normal dismissal time for the AM is 11:40 but will be after 12PM on these PLC days.  If you are picking up your child or need to pick up your child on that day you can do so at the regular dismissal time (11:40 am).  If you have any questions please call the school.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,

    R. Jason Wallace
