Welcome to Hope Academy!
-
Built in 2005 in collaboration with the City of Decatur, Hope Academy is located in the Wabash Crossing redevelopment area formerly known as Phoenix Park. During planning and construction, every effort was made to retain the park amenities, with "front views" on each side of the building.Hope's location is ideal because it is near several of our community partners, including the Boys & Girls Club, Crossing Healthcare, the Macon County Health Department, and Northeast Community Fund. Hope Academy is an attractive, state-of-the-art neighborhood school, serving Kindergarten through 8th grade students who live within the Hope boundary.
Our school offers comprehensive arts, enrichment, and athletic programs that include band, choir, orchestra, general music, art, social development, physical education and health, boys and girls basketball, cross country, track, cheer, and girls volleyball.
It is our pledge to provide a challenging and rewarding experience for our students. Again, we strongly encourage parents to become involved with our programs at Hope Academy to ensure a strong cooperative effort between the home and school. Visitors and community members are also welcome and should check into the main office upon entering the school.
