The mission of DPS Alternative Education is to provide a supportive, well-rounded educational program that meets the academic, behavior, social, and emotional needs of our students being educated in an alternative setting.

Our Vision

The vision of DPS Alternative Education is to serve students who have been placed in an alternative school setting primarily due to serious behavioral problems and academic deficiencies. The purpose of the program is to provide in-depth, intensive, and individualized instruction in the areas of academics, behavior, and social/emotional development.
