This week in math, the students are learning to add and subtract mixed numbers. In reading they are still learning about the Mariana Trench. The Mariana Trench is the deepest known part of the ocean. It's a crescent-shaped chasm in the West Pacific Ocean. In science, they are learning about rock layers and patterns on the Earth's surface. They will be taking a test next Wednesday in social studies. They will be finishing the unit on rules and laws in Illinois and there will be a test on that next Monday.
