Our seniors are ready to turn the tassel and District administrators are thrilled to announce the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024 is set to take place on Saturday, May 18 at both high school campuses. MacArthur’s graduation ceremony will start at 11:00 a.m. and Eisenhower’s ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m. Entrances will open an hour before the ceremonies.
This is a ticketed event and all graduates will be given the same ticket allotment with an opportunity to earn additional tickets for attending graduation. Absolutely no re-entry will be allowed, so make sure you have all your belongings when entering the gates.
This is a monumental day for many students and families, we want to make sure this is enjoyable for everyone. Here is a list of items that are NOT permitted at graduation: balloons, noisemakers, signs or posters, outside food or drink, illegal drugs or vapes of any kind, weapons, and no large purses or backpacks larger than 6.5” by 4.5” inches. Small clutch purses are allowed.
Mark your calendars for this special day, as we celebrate the hard work and achievements of our extraordinary graduating seniors of Decatur Public Schools!
